5. The Messiah’s dominion shall be universal and everlasting, Dan. 7.14 – And to him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve him; his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom one that shall not be destroyed.

6. The New Testament confirmation of the glorious Messiah

a. His glorious present session in heaven, Mark 16.19; Luke 24.51; Heb. 4.14; 1 Pet. 3.22

b. His return for his people, John 14.1-3; 1 Cor. 15.51-52; 1 Thess. 4.13-18

c. His glorious return to judge the world, Matt. 26.64; Luke 21.27; Acts 1.11

d. His committing of the Kingdom to God the Father, that he might be all in all, 1 Cor. 15.24-28 – Then comes the end, when he delivers the kingdom to God the Father after destroying every rule and every authority and power. [25] For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet. [26] The last enemy to be destroyed is death. [27] For “God has put all things in subjection under his feet.” But when it says, “all things are put in subjection,” it is plain that he is excepted who put all things in subjection under him. [28] When all things are subjected to him, then the Son himself will also be subjected to him who put all things in subjection under him, that God may be all in all.
