D. Aaron versus Melchizedek: Jesus is a priest after the order of Melchizedek

1. Whereas Aaron’s priesthood and its consecration is temporal, Christ’s priesthood (after Melchizedek) is eternal , Heb. 7.21-23.

2. Whereas Aaron’s priesthood is fallible and subject to sin, Christ’s eternal priesthood is sinless , Heb. 7.26.
