2. Are you proficient enough in the epistles to walk someone through an overview of their meaning? What would it take for you to learn them in this way?

3. Are you trustworthy enough for the Lord to entrust to you the truth about Jesus of Nazareth so you could train and disciple others in that knowledge?

Jude 1.3 Beloved, although I was very eager to write to you about our common salvation, I found it necessary to write appealing to you to contend for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints.

B. Connection to your ministry in the city and the church

1. How will you start to get a better handle on the meaning of the NT epistles so you can teach their interpretation and application of Christ?

2. In what ways can you use this study to enrich your knowledge of the Christ event so you can apply it better in your own personal life, with your spouse, family members, associates, and friends, in witness to Christ?

3. Ask the Lord to reveal to you what he wants you to do now for your own ministry, to make it clearer how you are making disciples of Christ in the same way that the apostles did. Remember the words of the Great Com mission, Matt. 28.19-20 – Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, [20] teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.
