c. God’s thoughts are beyond human comprehension without aid and illumination, Isa. 55.8-9 – For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord. [9] For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. d. We are transformed in our lives by the renewal of our mind in conjunction to the mind of Christ , Rom. 12.1-2 – I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. [2] Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

3. The disciplined Christian mind affirms that “All truth belongs to God,” as well as the fact that “not all truth is as important as the Truth.”

a. Continuing in Jesus’ words reveals our discipleship and provides the truth that liberates, John 8.31-32 – So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed in him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, [32] and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

b. God’s word is truth, and sanctifies us, John 17.17 – Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth.

c. Everyone who is of truth listens to Christ’s voice, John 18.37 – Then Pilate said to him, “So you are a king?” Jesus answered, “You say that I am a king. For this purpose I was born and for this purpose I have come into the world – to bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth listens to my voice.”
