(1) Eph. 6.5-7 – Slaves, obey your earthly masters with fear and trembling, with a sincere heart, as you would Christ, [6] not by the way of eye service, as people-pleasers, but as servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart, [7] rendering service with a good will as to the Lord and not to man (2) 1 Tim. 6.1 – Let all who are under a yoke as slaves regard their own masters as worthy of all honor, so that the name of God and the teaching may not be reviled. d. Adorn the doctrine of God by submissive and obedient conduct under credible leadership, Titus 2.9-10 – Slaves are to be submissive to their own masters in everything; they are to be well-pleasing, not argumentative, [10] not pilfering, but showing all good faith, so that in everything they may adorn the doctrine of God our Savior.

e. Submit openly and always under the lordship of Christ.

(1) Acts 5.29 – But Peter and the apostles answered, “We must obey God rather than men.”

(2) Acts 4.19-20 – But Peter and John answered them, “Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you rather than to God, you must judge, [20] for we cannot but speak of what we have seen and heard.” (3) 2 Cor. 4.2 – But we have renounced disgraceful, underhanded ways. We refuse to practice cunning or to tamper with God’s word, but by the open statement of the truth we would commend ourselves to everyone’s conscience in the sight of God.
