c. The forgiven saint: one who has acknowledged his sins to God and to his Christian brothers and sisters, and received prayer for healing and the pronounce ment of God’s forgiveness, 1 John 1.9

1. Understand the present day ministry of the Lord Jesus on behalf of the saints of God.

c. Our Sacrifice and Atonement, pleading, 1 John 2.1-2

2. Practice times of daily self-examination before the Lord, confessing your sins before him, receiving his cleansing and forgiveness, 1 John 1.9.
