Prayer and Affirmation to God

Have nothing to do with irreverent, silly myths. Rather train yourself for godliness; [8] for while bodily training is of some value, godliness is of value in every way, as it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come. [9] The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance. [10] For to this end we toil and strive, because we have our hope set on the living God, who is the Savior of all people, especially of those who believe. ~ 1 Timothy 4.7-10 May the grace of Jesus Christ, energized by the love of the Father and empowered by the Holy Spirit, enable us to so discipline our lives that we may grow up into the head into all things, even into Christ, both reflecting his glory in the Church and living a compelling testimony in the world. May this occur in our lives, all to the glory of the Father. In the mighty name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

Therefore I endure everything for the sake of the elect, that they also may obtain the salvation that is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.

~ 2 Timothy 2.10
