D. Law four: You will always reap in proportion to what you sow.

1. The biblical support

a. 2 Cor. 9.6-8 – The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. [7] Each one must give as he has made up his mind, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. [8] And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.

b. Prov. 11.24 – One gives freely, yet grows all the richer; another withholds what he should give, and only suffers want.

c. Prov. 19.17 – Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will repay him for his deed.

d. Prov. 22.9 – Whoever has a bountiful eye will be blessed, for he shares his bread with the poor.

e. Eccles. 11.6 – In the morning sow your seed, and at evening withhold not your hand, for you do not know which will prosper, this or that, or whether both alike will be good.

f. Luke 6.38 – Give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.
