II. Law Two: Invariably, You and Others Will Reap from the Sowing That Others Have Chosen to Sow.
A. The biblical support
1. Exod. 20.4-6 – You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. [5] You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and the fourth generation of those who hate me, [6] but showing steadfast love to thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments. 2. Exod. 34.6-7 – The Lord passed before him and proclaimed, “The Lord, the Lord, a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness, [7] keeping steadfast love for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, but who will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children and the children’s children, to the third and the fourth generation.” 3. Lev. 26.39-40 – And those of you who are left shall rot away in your enemies’ lands because of their iniquity, and also because of the iniquities of their fathers they shall rot away like them. 4. Isa. 65.6-7 – Behold, it is written before me: “I will not keep silent, but I will repay; I will indeed repay into their bosom [7] both your iniquities and your fathers’ iniquities
