Plot

Introduction and Rising Action 1. When the king of Aram finds out that Elisha has been thwarting his plans by revealing them to the king of Israel, he sends his army to Dothan to seize Elisha. 2. Elisha’s servant is terrified when he wakes up in the morning to find the Aramean army around the city. Climax 3. Elisha prays that the Lord would open his servant’s eyes. He then sees that the hills are full of angelic armies all around. 4. Elisha prays that the Aramean army would be struck blind. 5. He leads the blinded army to Samaria where he prays again to restore their vision. Falling Action and Resolution 6. The king of Israel wants to kill them, but Elisha says they should be treated well. 7. After feeding the army, he sent them back to Aram. The Arameans no longer raided or attacked Israel.
