Introduction and Rising Action 1. Mary is a young woman living in Nazareth. She is an unmarried virgin. 2. The Lord sends the angel Gabriel to announce to Mary that, though she is a virgin, she will conceive a child and name him Jesus. 3. This child will be the Son of God and the Lord will give him the throne of David and kingdom that will never end.
