Introduction and Rising Action 1. Jesus is giving parables and images to describe God’s Kingdom.

Climax (The Parable) 2. He says the Kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed that a sower sows in his field. 3. It begins as the tiniest of seed. 4. However, when it is fully grown it is the largest of shrubs and becomes a tree.

Falling Action and Resolution 5. All the birds of the air can come and make their nests in the branches of this great tree.
