Plot
Introduction and Rising Action 1. Jesus knows that his hour has come, that Judas is ready to betray him, and that he was about to depart. 2. At supper, he stood up and stripped to his undergarments. 3. He then proceeds to do the menial task of washing the feet of the disciples. Climax 4. When Jesus comes to him, Peter tries to refuse to let the Lord wash his feet. 5. Jesus tells him that if he will not allow his feet to be washed, Peter has no share with Christ. 6. Peter then exclaims that he wants the Lord to bathe his whole body! Falling Action and Resolution 7. Jesus explains that he is already clean, and only needs his feet washed. 8. However, he tells the disciples that not all of them are clean. He knew what Judas was about to do.
