Introduction and Rising Action 1. After questioning Jesus, the Jewish religious leaders take Jesus to Pilate, the Roman governor. 2. They request that Jesus be put to death. Climax 3. Pilate questions Jesus but finds no guilt in himworthy of death. 4. He tries to free Jesus as the customary Passover prisoner release, but the leaders choose Barabbas instead. 5. Pilate has Jesus flogged and mocked. Again he present Jesus to the people seeking to release Jesus. Falling Action and Resolution 6. The people reject Jesus as their king and refuse to allow his release. 7. Pilate hands Jesus over to be crucified.
