Introduction and Rising Action 1. Joseph of Arimathea has been a secret disciple of Jesus out of fear of the Jewish leaders. 2. After the death of Jesus, Joseph of Arimathea asks for his body.

Climax 3. Pilate grants Joseph the body of Jesus.

4. Nicodemus and Joseph prepare Jesus’s body for burial by wrapping him in linen cloth that is rubbed with myrrh and aloes.

Falling Action and Resolution 5. They place Jesus in an empty tomb in a garden near Golgoltha.
