Introduction and Rising Action 1. At dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and another woman named Mary go to the tomb of Jesus.

Climax 2. There had been a great earthquake, and an angel of the Lord had from heaven. 3. The angel rolled away the stone that covered the entrance to the tomb and sat on it.

Falling Action and Resolution 4. The guards that had been stationed by the chief priests and Pharisees ran away and fainted in terror.
