Plot

Introduction and Rising Action 1. Three women who had watched where Jesus had been buried came to the tomb. 2. They were wondering how they were going to roll away the stone. Climax 3. When they arrive at the tomb they are shocked to find the stone rolled away, and the tomb empty. 4. In the confusion, two angelic men appear to them. They ask why the women are seeking Jesus among the dead. 5. Jesus is not in the tomb. He is risen, just as he promised! Falling Action and Resolution 6. The women returned to the disciples to tell them what they had seen and heard. 7. Only Peter is willing to believe the women. He runs to the tomb and finds it empty, just as the women had said.
