Plot
Introduction and Rising Action 1. Jesus is talking with his disciples on the Mount of Olives. They ask him if it is time for him to restore the kingdom to Israel. 2. Jesus explains that only the Father knows the times for these things. 3. He promises to send the Holy Spirit to empower them to be his witnesses to the whole world. Climax 4. As he is speaking he lifts off the ground and ascends into the sky until the clouds hide him. 5. The disciples are left staring into the sky. Falling Action and Resolution 6. Two angelic men appear and ask the disciples what they are doing. 7. They tell them that Jesus has ascended to heaven and remind them that Jesus promised to return in the same way.
