According to Peter, the arrival of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost is the sign that “God has made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom you crucified” (2.36). 7. After he preaches, the listeners are convicted to repent and receive baptism as a sign of their faith in Jesus as the Christ, sent from God. 8. The early Church shares everything in common, listening to the Apostles’ teachings, and praising God.
