Introduction and Rising Action 1. A great multitude of people

praises the Lord for the vindication of the saints. 2. They cry out, “Hallelujah” for the great wedding supper of the Lamb has arrived, and his Bride is ready. Climax 3. Jesus comes as a warrior on a white horse to do battle against evil. He is called Faithful and True, the Word of God, and King of kings and Lord of lords. 4. Under the leadership of the beast, the forces of wickedness draw up battle lines against the Lord, but an angel announces the destruction of the wicked before the battle even begins. Falling Action and Resolution 5. Christ’s victory is decisive and swift. He conquers God’s enemies and throws them into the lake of fire.

Old Testament Foundation: The Culmination and Fulfillment of the Promise

The Protoevangelium, Genesis 3.15 (p. 40) With the Second Coming of Jesus Christ to restore all things under the rule of God, the original promise that was given in Genesis after the Fall, was fulfilled. God’s promise to overcome evil and destroy the evil one comes to its completion in Christ’s final victory.
