Introduction and Rising Action 1. John sees a new heaven and a new earth. 2. The holy city, the New Jerusalem descend from the heaven to the earth. Climax 3. The voice of God declares from the throne that his eternal dwelling place is among his people. 4. All signs of sin, the curse, evil, and death are wiped away. God is making all things new. 5. John sees a river of the water of life flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb. The water feeds the tree of life that is for the healing of the nations. 6. The servants of God will live forever in his presence seeing him face to face. The Lord will be their light forever.

Falling Action and Resolution 7. The angel leaves John with the promise of the trustworthiness of his Word, and of the soon return of Christ.
