Plot
Introduction and Rising Action 1. When the Israelites cry out for deliverance, the Lord calls Moses to lead the people out of Egypt, and Aaron to be his spokesman. 2. The Lord sends Moses to Pharaoh with a request to allow the people to leave Egypt and journey into the wilderness to celebrate a festival. 3. Pharaoh refuses to let the people go. Climax 4. The Lord sends ten plagues on Egypt to demonstrate that he is God and to convince Pharaoh to let the Israelites go. 5. For the tenth plague, the Lord kills all of the firstborn sons of Egypt including Pharaoh’s own son.
Falling Action and Resolution 6. Finally, Pharaoh lets Israel go.
