Plot

Introduction and Rising Action 1. After the great Exodus, the Lord met with his people to give them a Law. 2. He told them how they should live, and that they should build a tabernacle for his presence to be among them. 3. The tabernacle was a tent that could be set up and taken down easily as the Israelites journeyed through the wilderness. 4. The Lord gave specific requirements for the layout and design of the tabernacle. 5. The Lord set apart Aaron and his sons to serve as the priests. Climax 6. Moses ensured that the tabernacle was completed exactly as the Lord has commanded. 7. The pillar of cloud and fire descended on the completed tabernacle.

Falling Action and Resolution 8. The Lord dwelt among his people and continued to lead them.
