Understanding the ways in which these tools can better help you understand the ancient world, will make you a better minister of the Word of God in this world. Nothing will affect every dimension of your ministry like a mastery of the Word of God. Our goal should be consistent with the Word of the Lord from Paul to Timothy in 2 Tim. 4.1-2: “I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom: preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching.” Nothing is wasted in the man or woman of God who will discipline themselves in the Word of God, to be ready to preach, teach, speak, counsel, and pray for others at any time God may direct, regardless of place or condition. This is our dream and mandate. You now have the privilege to share the insights you have learned in this module in a practicum that you and your mentor agree to. What will be important will be to find a venue where you can share the rich insights you have learned and applied in this module– whether with the members of your family, in a venue at your church, at work, or wherever God may lead. What you will want to concentrate upon is how this teaching has connected with your life, work, and ministry. The ministry project is designed for this, and in the next days you will have the opportunity to share these insights in real-life, actual ministry environments. Pray that God will give you insight into his ways as you share your insights in your projects. Now that you are at the end of this module, reflect on whether or not there are any remaining issues, persons, situations, or opportunities that need to be prayed for as a result of your studies in this lesson. Ask the Lord, the Holy Spirit, to bring to your mind any applications or changes he desires to see in your life as a result of these studies, and take the time to pray with and for your colleagues in their areas of concern. Remember, prayer provides us with the necessary support we need to confidently and courageously follow through on those areas that our Lord desires change and growth.
