3. Place each note in the month where it belongs. 4. See if you want to make any adjustments to any part of the plan you have already made. a. Postpone an action b. Move an action to an earlier or later date c. Add a new idea d. Get rid of an idea 5. Tape the notes to the paper. Roll up the paper to take it home where it can be re-created. B. Summarize the results on the charter form. 1. Write out the vision statement and all the other information requested on the form. 2. The requested length of charter is generally the date from your vision statement. But in some rare cases, it could be shorter if you want to have a formal charter review at an earlier date. 3. Note: If you decide to add a team member at a later date, it is highly recommended that you take the person through a formal process of commitment to the team and your vision. Other teams have suffered when members are added without the thorough understanding of, and commitment to, the team’s vision and goals. 4. Write down your key goals.
