of chances of turning back, only they didn’t. They kept going. Because they were holding on to something. Frodo: What are we holding on to Sam? Sam: That there’s some good in this world, Mr. Frodo . . . and it’s worth fighting for. God created the world and saw that it was good. Though the cancer of sin entered the world, God’s very nature caused Him to demonstrate His love that, even in the very state of our own rebellion, He sent and sacrificed His only Son to redeem us. We must endure in daily submission to the Holy Spirit for His empowerment for missions. It’s like holding onto a log and letting the current take you. You just need to hold on. Our hope is sure (Matt. 10.22). The rightful King will come and not delay. Our times demand complete devotion to The Lord Jesus, boldness in the proclamation of The Gospel, absolute surrender and unreserved obedience to The Holy Spirit, deep love and fidelity to The Church, and unflinching loyalty to the Kingdom.
