Mere Missions

feet and was unfit for living. One day I went over to visit Tee and to bring a new/used couch that had been donated to the ministry. When I lifted her old couch to remove it, countless cockroaches fell on my head and clothing. They were everywhere and in everything. The place should have been condemned and torn down. Though Tee lived a hard life, there was an inner joy that overflowed from within her life that most others would raise their fists to God and curse Him. Not Tee! She exemplified Paul’s words to the Thessalonian Church, “give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you” (1 Thess. 5.18). Though, I’m not sure she could read, she always had a Kingdom word of thankfulness to share with me. This saint, unknown but to very few, who lived in poverty, left a “rich” mark in my spirit. She lived a life of endearment to the Lord Jesus and was used by the Spirit of the Lord to begin shaping my Apostolic Missions Platform . I look forward to seeing this saint one day when walking streets of gold in the New Jerusalem.
