hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory” (Col. 3.1-4). The sooner the church planter accepts the fact that they have been crucified with Christ and no longer live but Christ lives in them, the sooner they will be able to function as authorized representatives to advance and expand God’s Kingdom into enemy occupied territory. All missions depend on it. War automatically implies a conflict between powers. In missions, Satan’s primary strategy, as mentioned above, is to kill the one who is authorized and sent to proclaim the gospel and establish and Outpost of the Kingdom of God in his territory. Day and night Satan makes his attacks and accusations before God Almighty (Rev. 12.10) against these representatives who herald good news of salvation and reconciliation in Jesus Christ. In fact, against all God’s daughters and sons in the faith. How do we conquer these accusations? Revelation 12.11 gives us the answer, “And they have conquered him by the (1) blood of the Lamb and by (2) the word of their testimony, for they (3) loved not their lives even unto death.” When identifying and equipping called individuals to move forward in missions, these three qualities must be evident: 1. Blood of the Lamb. Is the cross alone for salvation solidified in the individual? It is not, “the blood of the Lamb” plus something else. They preach this Gospel to themselves daily in order to conquer the onslaughts of the lies and accusations of the Devil. The natural outflow is to proclaim this same blood of the Lamb, that allows them to conquer, to others, whether lost or saved. The blood of the Lamb is painted on the “door frames” of their life for all to see (Exod. 12.7).
