C. We have been set free in Christ in order to become all things to all people in order to save some, sharing boldly Good News of Jesus Christ and His Kingdom. 1. We have been set free in Christ in order to use all things in order to contribute and become profitable for the sake of Christ and his Kingdom. 1 Cor. 3.18-23 (ESV) – Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you thinks that he is wise in this age, let him become a fool that he may become wise. For the wisdom of this world is folly with God. For it is written, “He catches the wise in their craftiness,” and again, “The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are futile.” So let no one boast in men. For all things are yours, whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or the present or the future – all are yours, and you are Christ’s, and Christ is God’s. 2 Cor. 4.5 (ESV) – For what we proclaim is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, with ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake. 2 Cor. 4.15 (ESV) – For it is all for your sake, so that as grace extends to more and more people it may increase thanksgiving, to the glory of God. 1 Cor. 9.19-23 (ESV) – For though I am free from all, I have made myself a servant to all, that I might win more of them. To the Jews I became as a Jew, in order to win Jews. To those under the law I became as one under the law (though not being myself under the law) that I might win those under the law. To those outside the law I became as one outside the law (not being outside the law of God but under the law of Christ) that I might win those outside the law. To the weak I became weak, that I might win the weak. I have become all things to all people, that by all means I might save some. I do it all for the sake of the gospel, that I may share with them in its blessings. 2. We become all things to all people in order to win them.
