Launch: Expand the Church Exercise Questions

1. Do we all know how to clearly communicate the Gospel message? If not, how will we ensure this training occurs? 2. How will we implement key factors that we discover in our culture research into our evangelism? 3. What are some tools you have found useful/helpful/effective in your evangelism experience in the past that could be helpful for the rest of the team? (see Appendix, Oikos Evangelism ) 4. What kinds of evangelistic events will we have? 5. What outreaches will we have in the next year? 6. What kind of personal, “nose-to-nose” evangelism can we sponsor in this initial phase of our plant? 7. How will we advertise events? 8. Besides using “Fight the Good Fight of Faith,” what other follow-up tools will we use to ensure that every new convert is followed up personally? 9. What tracking tools/statistical records will we employ to ensure we follow up new believers or visitors? (See Appendix, Sample Follow up Card ) 10. How will we recruit and utilize mature believers? 11. How will we saturate a target area? 12. How will we choose a name for the church? 13. When will we name the church? 14. What cultural considerations need to be considered regarding praise and worship? Who will comprise the worship team? What ways can we build ownership among indigenous Christians as they participate in praise and worship? 15. Who needs to know the results of our plan and how do we communicate it to them?
