B. Help your church form a kingdom identity.
Rule out majoring on the minors; teach students the whole counsel (Story) of God.

2. The principle made plain: We equip our church members to resist every notion or claim that contradicts who they are and what they possess in Christ.
3. Analogy: The Corinthians (viewed through Paul’s lens), 1 Cor. 6
4. Ramification: Regardless of the teaching, our training must reorient our church members to who they really are in Christ.
a. Since the devil functions by lying intimidation, we must equip our church members to “talk back” to the devil through a clear understanding of their position and calling in Christ. b. Real discipleship always fundamentally transforms the ways in which we perceive ourselves and our place in this world. c. Identity is reinforced through time, discipline, and constancy. All training we offer should reinforce personal identity in Christ.
