Seminar Group Discussion 1. How are we to understand discipleship in light of the Great Commission, and Jesus’ teaching on the Kingdom of God, and the Church? What were the ways that Paul discipled others in his time? 2. Why should making disciples in and through the church be the preferred method of disciplemaking? What are some biblical examples of discipling? What can we learn from them? 3. How do the concepts of Model, Mentor, and Friend relate to biblical discipling? Explain the role of conviction and perspective in all discipling relationships. 4. What role should the Word of God play in our training leaders, overcoming “rough edges,” and preparing others to disciple others?
