Ripe for Harvest

9. How will we impart the vision for reproduction among our members and leaders (i.e., planting the next church)? How can we develop within our church a burden for world missions, i.e., supporting efforts toward the fulfillment of the Great Commission among unreached peoples? 10. How will we set up, and pass to the emerging leaders, a process for church government and discipline? 11. How could we use this process for the training of emerging leaders? 12. How will we continue to nurture relationships already started with community groups, parachurch organizations, or social services that could benefit the church? 13. When will we meet to review and adjust our Nurture plan? 14. Who needs to know the results of our plan and how do we communicate that to them? 15. For cross cultural planters: how can the above questions be oriented toward the process of “passing the baton” to indigenous leaders?

Are any of your goals misaligned with respect to the Ten Principles?

1. Jesus is Lord. 2. Evangelize, Equip, and Empower unreached people to reach people.

3. Be inclusive: Whosoever will may come. 4. Be culturally neutral: Come just as you are. 5. Avoid a fortress mentality. 6. Continue to evangelize to avoid stagnation. 7. Cross racial, class, gender, and language barriers. 8. Respect the dominance of the receiving culture. 9. Avoid dependence. 10. Think reproducibility.
