D. Enable the church to set up a process that respects the constitution’s processes, i.e., help the church to incorporate and orient new members, select and empower its leaders, and move its activities towards its goals and objectives.

VII. Don’t confuse transition with spiritual child abandonment or the end of relationship: plan for dynamic partnerships to emerge.

A. Assure them of your continued relationship, support, friendship, and partnership.

B. Stay in contact and communication with the church, as “member emeritus.”

C. Brainstorm new ways that the team members may continue to grow as friends and partners without interfering with the Spirit’s leading of the church.
