In order to adapt to win, we must recognize the axioms of adaptation:

I. The Inevitability of Trouble : Things Mess Up.

II. The Certainty of Change : Nothing in Your Ministry Theater Will Remain Stable or Constant.

III. The Necessity of Support : In Order to Adapt, We Must Recruit and Coordinate Gifted Team Members.

I. The Inevitability of Trouble : Things Mess Up.

Doo doo happens; this world is a fallen world, and is subject to satanic oppression, attack, and subversion.

A. All your church planting is undertaken behind enemy lines.

1. The world ravages humanity strong, distracting you from your calling and mission, 1 John 2.15-17.

2. The flesh is the traitor within, sabotaging your best intentions and commitments, Gal. 5.16-24.

3. The devil is the god of this world, accusing, tempting, and undermining all you seek to do for Christ, Eph. 6.10-12.

B. The difficulties you face will be multiple, constant, mind boggling, and exhausting.

1. They will be multiple , John 15.18-21.

2. They will be constant , James 1.2-3.

3. They will be mind-boggling , 1 Pet. 1.6-7.
