LAUNCH: Expand the Church • Invite others (mature or new believers) to join the church. • Conduct evangelism to add to the existing church. • Follow up new converts using “Fight the Good Fight of Faith.” ASSEMBLE: Establish the Church • Train others through cell groups or Bible studies to follow up and disciple new believers. • Continue evangelism with oikos groups. • Identify and train emerging leaders at a satellite campus of TUMI. • Assemble the groups where the Word is rightly preached, the sacraments are rightly administered and discipline is rightly ordered. • Announce to the neighborhood the beginning of public worship. NURTURE: Mature the Church • Use the Church Year calendar to disciple the congregation. • Train others to serve and lead through individual and group discipleship. • Encourage believers to exercise their gifts in the church. • Assign responsibility to the faithful (deacons, elders, future pastors). TRANSITION: Release the Church • Commission faithful indigenous leaders to be deacons, elders and pastors. • Commission the church to be part of a self-governing, self supporting and self-reproducing movement. • Join a denomination or association for fellowship, support and joint-ministry activity. • Begin reproducing a new church plant.
