distinctiveness of the members of the Trinity. By focusing on the main points you can set a framework in which we not only help the students to master this data, but will also give them a way to study this important subject in the future.

These case studies seek to explore the significance of belief in God as Trinity for both life and ministry. Help the students consider what is at stake in someone denying the truth of the Scriptures regarding the person of God, and help them define the boundaries of what is considered acceptable in terms of different beliefs regarding the Trinity. By the end of the second class session, you ought to have mentioned to the students the need for them to have given some thought and spadework to their Ministry Project. Now, by the end of the third lesson, you should also have emphasized their need to select a passage for their Exegetical Project. Both of these assignments tend to “creep up on” the students at the end of the course, so make sure that you emphasize with them the work to be done, the standards for doing it, and the dates when the work will be due. Give them proper notice on the final and any other assignments, and exhort them to be organized and ready for the work ahead. Do not fail to emphasize these matters to your students for, as in all study, the end of the course is hectic, with many things becoming due and the students feeling the pressure to do many things at once to meet due dates. Any way that you can remind them of the need for advanced planning will be wonderfully helpful for them, whether they realize it immediately or not. Because of this, we advocate that you consider docking a modest amount of points for late papers, exams, and projects. While the amount may be nominal, your enforcement of your rules will help them to learn to be efficient and on time as they continue in their studies.
