the unbelievable treasure that the Word of God is, and challenges us to concentrate on it first as our very own food and life source, then as the indispensable weapon it is in ministry. For all facets of life and ministry, nothing provides power, encouragement, and refreshment like the Word of God. These prayers ought not to be seen as simply a part of the lesson but as a historical and spiritual indicator of the longing we have that God empowers us to know and apply his Word. Only God through the Spirit can enable us to properly view and value his holy Word. Encourage students to depend on the Lord to help them understand the power of the Word that creates. These contacts seek to create a context by which the students can begin to hear the presentations that follow. These contacts are designed to help the students come to reflect on the role of the Word of God in various situations, its importance and significance, and its role in addressing issues and solving problems. Use these contacts to help the students discuss the role of Scripture in various contexts meaningful in society and in their lives. The creative power of the Word of God is seen concretely and spiritually in this lesson, and your discussion ought to highlight this powerful aspect of the Scriptures. The fact that the Word of God has special power in God’s creative act is perhaps best summarized in Psalm 147.15-20: He sends forth his command to the earth; his word runs very swiftly. [16] He gives snow like wool; he scatters the frost like ashes. [17] He casts forth his ice as fragments; Who can stand before his cold? [18] He sends forth his word and melts them; he causes his wind to blow and the waters to flow. [19] He declares his words to Jacob, his statutes and his ordinances to Israel. [20] He has not dealt thus with any nation; And as for his ordinances, they have not known them. Praise the LORD!
