Read the assigned reading and summarize each reading with no more than a paragraph or two for each. In this summary please give your best understanding of what you think was the main point in each of the readings. Do not be overly concerned about giving detail; simply write out what you consider to be the main point discussed in that section of the book. Please bring these summaries to class next week. In our next lesson, God the Father: The Triune God – The Greatness of God, we will look at the biblical evidence for the Trinity, God’s triune personhood. The Scriptures teach that there is only one God, and yet this same God reveals himself as God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The members of the Trinity are one, diverse and equal, the one true God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Truly, our God the Father Almighty is the one, true, and glorious God of heaven.
