T heology and E th i c s
Conclusion • The Word of God teaches that there is only one God, and yet this same God reveals himself as God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. • Furthermore, the Scriptures teach not only that God is one God, but also speaks of God in three persons, as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Please take as much time as you have available to answer these and other questions that the video brought out. The biblical teaching on the Trinity is neither easy nor quick to comprehend and understand. What must be understood, however, is that the Trinity is an attempt to accept with full authority and honesty the scriptural testimony of God’s unity as one God, and yet the divinity of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Rehearse the key concepts on this important teaching, and make sure that you are able to defend any claims you make with the Scriptures themselves (Acts 17.11).
