a. Our personality : we share with God a sense of our own self-consciousness.
b. Our rationality : we share with God self-consciousness and reason.
c. Our will : we share with God the ability to choose.
d. Our moral capacity : we share with God a moral sensibility.
D. The preciousness of humankind: all human beings share in the imago Dei .
1. All humankind shares in this image: there are no distinctions among human beings regarding the image of God, Acts 17.26.
2. This image is foundational to understanding God’s relationship to humankind, and human beings response to each other, James 3.9.
3. We are bad off because of the curse, but human beings are unique and precious, because of creation.
