II. Four Channels of God’s Divine Justice and Mercy
A. Individuals and the family: individual disciples and family units can become ministers of justice and mercy by beginning in their own web of influence .
1. The family is a ministry base, a foundation for generosity and hospitality.

a. Lev. 25.25
b. 1 Tim. 5.8
2. In gleaning its fields, families were to leave crops for the needy to have. Families are the “frontlines” of demonstrating the mercy of God to those who are needy and hurting (Keller, Ministries of Mercy , p.125).
