The Church of Jesus Christ, as an outpost and beachhead of the Kingdom, is called to demonstrate freedom, wholeness, and justice in its engagement with the world, responding in love, obeying the leading of its head, the Lord Jesus Christ.
1. The Church of Jesus Christ is an outpost and beachhead of the Kingdom of God .
a. We are ambassadors of Jesus Christ, 2 Cor. 5.20.
b. Our citizenship is in heaven, Phil. 3.20.
c. Messiah Jesus is sending us into the world, Acts 26.17-18.
