Now is the time to try to isolate a principle or concept that can help you in your own particular ministry situation. Survey the various ideas, concepts, and truths that have been introduced in this lesson, and concentrate upon one insight that you will think about and pray for throughout this next week. What specific thought has the Holy Spirit impressed upon your heart regarding evangelism, spiritual warfare, and your own particular call to evangelism in your community? What particular situation or circumstance comes to mind when you think about how God has promised deliverance for those who believe the Good News? How does God want your own thinking to change in light of the truths that you have heard with your fellow students this week? Ask the Lord to give you wisdom as you pray and meditate on this lesson topic and the truth that the Spirit has impressed you with in this study. Pray specifically that the Lord would give you his insight and understanding as you seek to understand evangelism against the backdrop of salvation as deliverance from the power of the devil and from sin and its effects. Ask God to increase your faith for results, to give you new insight into the Gospel as the very power of God unto salvation for all who believe (i.e., Romans 1.16). Ask for the Spirit’s anointing as you share the Good News that the very delivering power of God might show itself in the lives of those with whom you share, even as that same power continues to transform your own life in Christ.
