Thinking about the truth of Scripture through its interconnection with your own life and ministry is the key to making the Word of God come alive in your personal life. Meditate upon the central teachings of this lesson, and ask the Lord how he might want you to change or alter your ministry approach based on these truths. The Holy Spirit is a Person of freedom and creativity (2 Cor. 3.17), and if you listen carefully to him in this regard he will direct you to apply the Word of God in new ways within your own personal life situation. His voice is living and personal; he may be directing you to apply these truths in new ways in your own ministry situation right now. Set aside some time this week to be in his presence and listen to him as he directs you to apply this teaching on evangelistic method, and promptly respond to his leading as he directs. Of course, anything he reveals this week, be ready to share those prompting and insights with the other learners in your class. As the Holy Spirit surfaces particular issues through your study and discussion of this material, turn his insights and promptings into prayer for yourself and others. Find a partner in prayer who can share your burdens with you, and together lift up your requests to God. Of course, your Mentor is open to hearing your insights and desires, and your church leaders, especially your pastor, may be specially equipped to help you answer any difficult questions arising from your reflection on this study. Be open to God and allow him to lead you as he determines.
