3. God has given special gifted individuals to the body of Christ in order that the members might be equipped for the work of the ministry, Eph. 4.6-15.

4. All the members of the body of Christ are significant and important for its growth and strength, 1 Cor. 12.12-27.

5. Whatever the special grace is that we have received from the Lord, we should use it to build up one another to God’s glory, 1 Pet. 4.10-11.

6. All Christians are priests and have been given the authority and responsibility to minister to other members, bearing their burdens and so fulfilling the law of Christ, cf. 1 Pet. 2.9 with Gal. 6.2.
