2. If the Gospel is rejected by the leading members of an oikos , it may make it extremely difficult to continue to share within it.

3. Devotion to one’s oikos may interfere with the new found allegiance of an oikos member to Jesus Christ, John 12.42-43.

B. Solutions

1. Whatever methods you select in sharing the Good News in your church planting neighborhood, think oikos !

2

a. Think “economically” in every personal relationship you make and cultivate.

b. Plan your outreaches in terms of winning the oikos , not just the individual.

2. Do not worry if you do not see the immediate impact of sowing seeds within the oikia in the neighborhoods you serve; the Gospel will spread!

3. Be willing to share the Good News even with the members of an oikos who, at least on the surface, possess little actual authority in its affairs.

4. Do your homework by learning the kinship relationships : lay a proper foundation for continued penetration within the relational web.

5. In your planning and prayer, ask God to give you the entire circle.
