day the root of Jesse, who shall stand as a signal for the peoples—of him shall the nations inquire, and his resting place shall be glorious.

Mic. 4.1-5 - It shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the house of the Lord shall be established as the highest of the mountains, ad it shall be lifted up above the hills; and peoples shall flow to it, [2] and many nations shall come, and say: “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, o the house of the God of Jacob, that he may teach us his ways and that we may walk in his paths.” For out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. [3] He shall judge between many peoples, and shall decide for strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore; [4] but they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree, and no one shall make them afraid, for the mouth of the Lord of hosts has spoken. Jer. 23.5-6 - Behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will raise up for David a righteous Branch, and he shall reign as king and deal wisely, and shall execute justice and righteousness in the land. [6] In his days Judah will be saved, and Israel will dwell securely. And this is the name by which he will be called: “The Lord is our righteousness.” Isa. 9.6-7 - For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. [7] Of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end, on the throne of David and over his Kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from this time forth and forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will do this. Ps. 45.4-6 - In your majesty ride out victoriously for the cause of truth and meekness and righteousness; let your right hand teach you awesome deeds! [5] Your arrows are sharp in the heart of the king’s enemies; the peoples fall under you. [6] Your throne, OGod, is forever and ever. The scepter of your kingdom is a scepter of uprightness;
