C. Mission is the fulfillment of God’s intent to draw out of the earth a people that will be his forever and ever.
1. God’s covenant promise is sure and certain, Heb. 6.13-18.
2. His faithfulness in spite of his covenant partners, cf. Jer. 31.31-33.
D. Making disciples among all nations is the proclamation of the covenant faithfulness of a God who cannot lie and who fulfills his promise for a Savior to the world!

» Mission is the work of the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ through his promise to Abraham and David as the covenant God of faithfulness. » Our God has sworn by his own mighty nature and name to fulfill his promise to his servants Abraham and David, and now, all the world, including Gentiles, can participate in that promise by faith in Jesus of Nazareth. » Our Lord Jesus Christ is the One who fulfilled the promise of Abraham through his death and resurrection.
