III. Implications of Mission as the Romance of the Ages
A. God’s desire is to draw from all the nations, including Gentiles, a people who will belong to him forever.
1. This was in fulfillment of the Scriptures regarding Messiah, Luke 24.45-47.
2. This proclamation of Jew and Gentile salvation was to begin with the Jews, but be proclaimed to the ends of the earth, Acts 1.8; cf. Acts 2.32ff; 3.15-16; 4.33; Acts 8.5-35; Rom. 10.18; 15.19.
